Welcome to The Happy Potato. This is a daily food blog aimed at everyone, anywhere that a daily meal is prepared from scratch, accommodating all those likes and dislikes; tolerances and food intolerances; dietary changes (fat, thin, high cholesterol, vegetarian, Atkins); time and budget considerations and so on and so on.
I absolutely love cooking and would count it as my chief hobby, happily spending half a day in the kitchen producing a meal that my family scarf down in less than 10 minutes, refuelling on their way to the next activity, even if this is just lying about on the sofa watching stuff on YouTube. Dispiriting though this can be, I suspect it is a scenario familiar to many.
